QS Brand Lamb and Lamb  

Description

Lamb and lamb meat obtained from the application of a rigorous production disciplinary approved by the European Union.

Method of production

The animals will be bred in the traditional way, making extensive use of pasture, housed in structures that guarantee a greater state of well-being and in whose nutritional management we will proceed with integration with dried citrus pulp or dried olive pomace. Fixed housing and the use of added animal fats in feeding is prohibited.

Appearance and Taste

Non-compliant carcasses in terms of color, conformation, greasing status will be excluded. The meat following the aging process will be more tender with a better acidic composition of the fat and an increase in the shelf life of the product.

Distinctive note

Tender meats, with good color and fat composition, with greater shelf life of the product, with 'zero residue', produced with respect for animal welfare and the environment, genuine, strongly linked to the territories and characterized by high nutraceutical properties ".

Raw sheep and goat milk and QS brand  

Description

Raw sheep's milk, goat's milk and derivatives (drinking milk, dairy products and ice cream) obtained from the application of a strict production specification approved by the EU

 

Method of production

In the daily ration, at least 70% of the dry matter must come from natural pastures and / or arable land and forage produced and hay locally. The food ration must be able to guarantee a balanced supply of nutrients suitable for maintaining the health and well-being of sheep and goats. The use of added animal fats is forbidden in the diet.

 

Appearance and Taste

Drinking milk will be enriched in the aromatic component by the particular breeding technique and the type of feeding. Derivative products are the most composite, by way of example and not limited to: butter, milk creams, mascarpone, cream, ricotta, dairy products, cheeses with different degrees of seasoning, yogurt, fermented milks, ice creams, etc.

 

Distinctive note

The animals will be raised in the wild or semi-wild, with the application of suitable housing conditions that guarantee a greater state of well-being and through the use of food supplements that comply with nutritional needs. The qualitative requirements regarding the bacterial load, the presence of aflatoxin and the degree of antioxidant protection have parameters that are much lower than the maximum allowed by the current laws.
